THE PAST IS ALWAYS WITH US
Just like a seed or a tick our past events are stuck to us. A function of time, happenings go through a process of transformation from not yet to uh oh. We supply the adhesive with our individual response. The adhesive is the level of emotional investment that gets applied to the event. Just run your mind through the card-ex of your history and see if you can’t find this to be true. There are always memories of happiness, tragedy, ecstasy, horror, some jolt that keep us occupied during slow times. I for one value all of the memories otherwise my alone moments would be so bland and pointless. I embrace the past and I keep it with me. I approach my future with caution more and more. Whatever comes to me I try to remember it is a potential forever companion. The gift that keeps on giving.
