As well as for their families, friends, neighbors, co-workers, distant associates, vaguely remembered school chums, and people who sat next to them on the bus.
MASS SHOOTINGS IN USA
A number of our citizens lost touch with their emotions, decompensated, and shot all the people they could in a short period of time. They did not want to hurt the people who were victimized during these tragic events. These are not the people they wanted to shoot.

In order to understand how we are set up to be violent please read this. If you don’t want to go to all that trouble (shame on you) then just know that populations are over stressed by the basic requirements of living in a society that places many demands on identifications and certifications and numbering of skills, atributes, and other things that are not worth mentioning half the time. I think you shoul read at least part of this link. Read about Structural Violence and Structural Abuse as well.

A small grouping of the front men for the bastards who really run the show. The bastards who love what they do but cause undue suffering and slaughter of our citizens.

All the above have their own shit to worry about, I know. Just the same I want to list them as the ones who allowed our system of government to continue to shame and humiliate us on a daily basis.
Here is a photo and quote by Dr. James Gilligan. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Gilligan and to have lunch with him in New York after he presented a program at NYU in Manhattan. I spent fifteen minutes sharing information regarding the education of inmates in prison setttings. It was the most productive fifteen minutes for me. He is a gem.

Since I doubt you read any of the other link here is another to cause you a little guilt (perhaps not!). This one is eighteen pages but filled with so many good parts that if you just scan over it with passing interest you will improve your humanity by at least 100%.
