Nina Olff

nina

Eric wrote a nice affirmation of Nina’s writing on the cover of this book. The second part of the sentence clinches the whole together nicely.  Without the second part I am troubled by the first part. Here is what I wrote while sitting outdoors with a glass of scotch one afternoon. It all came together for me.

NINA WRITES

Does writing have precision…in the arts? I think not. Technical writing demands precision. Medical Hx demands precision. Artful writing circles in – samples – stays a moment and flits on by as if it never did.

I see no precision in that face. What I see is a ten-generation stare with arched eyebrows that broad brushes, regurgitates palabras or otherwise infuses her readers with hot, passionate tales of creation and passing – to be near her is life altering. Cuidado.

  1. Your last paragraph was written in bold type, same as the one before it. (Did Nina write the last paragraph, or did you)?
